The newly elected Fédération Française de Rugby à XIII (FFRXIII) board has this week announced its development priorities for the code for 2021, with a strong focus being put on promoting the variances of the sport.
Following changes made by L’Agence Nationale du Sport (ANS) to the Projet Sportif Fédéral (PSF) grants programme, the FFRXIII and its affiliated clubs and leagues, have been given greater autonomy over the use of funding.
The three development priorities outlined by the FFRXIII are:
- Junior Development Programs (School Sport, Junior Development)
- Promotion of Sport and Health (Touch XIII, Fit XIII, Vita XIII, Silver XIII)
- Focus on Ethics and Education
The priorities will influence the FFRXIII’s programmes over the coming year across both the mainland and the Pacific territories.
As an affiliate of the FFRXIII, l’Association Sportive Pacifique XIII (A.S. Pacifique XIII) looks forward to working with the FFRXIII to help establish the programmes and the code across the territories of New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna and French Polynesia.
